Make VoIP Phone Calls for Lower Phone Bills

Some decades ago long-distance calls were luxury, but with the advent of Internet based phone services including VoIP, this is no longer the case. Calling family members and friends anywhere in the world has become extremely cheap, and sometimes even free. Moreover, some of these services don`t require Internet connection for making international calls
People all over the world actively use Skype, and it is considered to be the best VoIP service which allows making free PC-to-PC calls. But there are few other good options which let you make low rate international calls using your mobile or landline phone.
There are 3 types of VoIP solutions which allow enjoying high end phone calls at a share of the price the phone company or mobile carrier charges.
Software based VoIP solution
It supposes installation of VoIP software on your PC or web-enabled mobile device and calling via the Internet bypassing the mobile carrier or the phone company. It`s remarkable that it is not necessary to have phone connected to the Internet over GPRS, Wi-Fi, 3G, EDGE or WiMAX.
Hardware based VoIP solution
Users are given isolated hardware router that is placed between modem and cordless or corded phone, and you are making and receiving calls like before with only difference – the calls are redirected not through the mobile carrier or the phone company, but via the Internet which ends up saving money.
Web based VoIP solution

Neither software nor hardware is required for web based VoIP services. The calls are made directly from the site of VoIP service provider. You just open it and type the phone number of the person you want to reach and you will be connected. Many providers offer direct access numbers which can be used to make international calls using traditional phone or mobile phone even if there is no internet connection.
